Duodenum
Commonly occurs throughout the league. A top player goes down to injury and the team rallies and ends up playing better. Ottawa won 5 straight after Karlsson, the best dman in the league, went out. When the playoffs come around and Kesler is out, you'll see the real damage. Makall
We had a 6-game winning streak before Kesler came back. As soon as he comes back, we break the streak and start a LOSING STREAK. What has changed since the winning streak to the losing streak? Kesler. The guy hasn't played with the team for MONTHS and then all of a sudden they throw him in and upsets the balance. There is no other explanation.
kchengc
I have said this many times but how the canucks treated Manny probably have something to do with the current slump. Players probably felt less motivated to play for a team who didn't stand by its players.
