canuck_trevor16
Luongo should get 1st round pick, a B prospect or either prospect that equal to a first round pick.........Iginla got a 1st round pick why can't Luongo?
Smashian Kassian
I'm not a fan of Colbourne, personally. I've seen him play a half dozen times in the AHL and he has never impressed me or stood out. He may wind up never getting above the 3rd line, if that.

Karlsson`s Flo
Right now, I'd be satisfied with Bozak, Colbourne or Biggs, and a conditional 1st depending if Bozak resigns (2nd or 3rd round if he does). edit- brain fart

TIGER SINGH
You see, Iginla got traded because he actually submitted a list of teams that he wanted to go to whereas Luongo never submitted a list of teams, showing that all the Lu trade rumours are just the media's creation
Smashian Kassian
Another interesting tidbit (no insider info here) but their are a few more teams who are calling for LU. Lebrun in his article stated that two other eastern teams besides TO have called about Lu. Pierre Mcguire seemed pretty certain more than a few have seriously expressed interest in Lu as well. The return being discussed (according to Mcguire) a center, winger, goalie

oldnews
Not interested in the Leafs prospects. Imo it's their roster RFAs and picks that are of interest. Franson, Frattin, Scrivens, and a 2nd, or suck it Toronto. If they want to sub the rental Bozak for one of the RFAs, make it a 1st. They dump no useless salary on us. They give us cap friendly young players under contract, with upside, and a future (pick) that the Canucks decide upon. They also take a couple UFA roster space dumps (Mullen and Desbiens). If they want Ballard, they can have him straight accross for Bozak, if Franson is part of the deal as above.
BertuzziJr 2.0
Same. That would be a solid package. Although I wouldn't include Colbourne as one of the prospect I would want, for me it would be either Biggs or Finn.

Karlsson`s Flo
If he doesn't resign we get a lower draft pick? I think that's supposed to be the other way around, if he walks we get a first... I would just let him walk and restock the cupboard with the first.

thad
I guess we shall see. I'm with you in the sense that we shouldn't expect the world for Lu. But something like a Bozak, colbourne/finn/biggs/frattin and a conditional 1st would serve us well. The way Gillis operates suggests that he won't lower his price. That's just the kind of guy he is, his demeanor on this trade has literally not shifted a single bit
BertuzziJr 2.0
I almost lean towards Finn out of those prospects. Centre we have Schroeder gaunce. Rw we have kassian Jensen Hansen weise all younger RW. Might as well take the d prospect. Bozak Finn 1st works for me

oldnews
Funny how much complaining goes on regarding the Canucks prospect pool, but when you get down to it, when you look at the Canucks vs Leafs prospect pool, even if you disregard the fact the Leafs have been selecting much higher in the draft, I have to say that Morgan Rielly aside there's not a single player I would take one for one for any of Schroeder, Lack, Jensen, Corrado or Gaunce.
