oldnews
Is Washigton's owner Leonis really going to be ok with not making the playoffs with all that high priced talent. Goaltending is the obvious problem and Lu would easily turn the Caps around. So just for fun... Lu, Ballard, Shroeder, Connaughton, 3rd, 4th For Carlson, Forsberg, Hendricks, Neuvirth Then to CLB: Booth, Neuvirth, 2nd, 3rd in 2014 For Johansen and Prospal

oldnews
Carlson - 23 yrs old Forsberg - 18 yrs old Johansen - 20 yrs old 3 points in 13 games, -9 Prospal - 38 yrs old twilight Hendricks - 31 yr old plug, 4pts in 19 games How does that get the Canucks closer to a cup exactly? Two rookies who would eventually help, but at around the time the Sedins retire. Prospal is what? A rental? If this a deal to et Carlson the Canucks can just trade Schneider for Carlson and that's it... The Canucks are trying to win it now, not in a few year and not rebuilding at all. This is not taking in consideration that Washington is not interested in Luongo, as most other teams out there. Try an offer for Schneider and the tune becomes rather different. elvis15
There are many left. And I haven't proposed as many crazy Schneider proposals as CDC has concerning Luongo...
BertuzziJr 2.0
This trade will happen when nobody is expecting it. It will happen on a weekday at like 3am two weeks before the trade deadline.
Canucks_Hockey_101
Proving only that your posts are about as useful as all those people putting up crazy Luongo proposals. For Schneider, it's even worse. To be absolutely clear, it doesn't make more sense for both teams than the same deal with Luongo.

oldnews
Nope, then we'd have to get a greater return according to CH101. They throw in another first and we're good.
BertuzziJr 2.0
Theodore hurt and then Clemmenson process to let in three goals on three shots. Not looking good for the Panthers right now. According to George Richards (panther beat guy) the injury didn't look good. This might accelerate the process for Luongo to Florida deal
Ilya Mikheyev
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Florida Panthers goalie Jose Theodore has left the game against the Carolina Hurricanes just over two minutes in with an apparent leg injury. Theodore, the 2002 NHL MVP with Montreal, kicked out his right pad to stop Jussi Jokinen on a 2-on-1 rush and immediately crumpled to the ice on the rebound attempt. BertuzziJr 2.0
With Kesler out, Weiss and Luongo on the trade block - this could point to something or rather.. depending on how bad the injury of course. Luongo + __________ for Weiss, Clemmenson + ________

oldnews
Will be interesting to see if Tallon finally gives, or calls up Markstrom. With the Panthers giving up 73 goals to lead the NHL, a pair of goaltenders with .892 and .865 sv% and one now injured, you've gotta think if not now, Luo probably never gets to go to his destination of choice? Luongo, Ebbett Goc, Petrovic, Shore, mid-round pick/Upshall.
