chrisbanks
i cant believe people still think kassian should be on the first line... maybe he should earn it like burrows did .. maybe he should learn to play with them insted of just standing infront of the net waiting for empty net tap ins... notice how many more chances and points sedins have gotten with burrows and how little they had with kassian. Mauii
TBH history has shown anyone can be put with the Sedins and instantaneously become a point producing machine...you can put a pylon on with them and it'd put up a couple of points...they could do a slap pass to the pylon, hit the puck down the end board and ricochet off the pylon, graze the pylon with the puck, use it as a screen/obstruction, etc.
Rypien37
Or put Kassian back there? I don't see why he was taken off that line to begin with. Sedin - Sedin - Kassian Booth - Kesler - Burrows
Phil_314
The top line is going pretty well with Burr/ Kass, and if he's able to spark a line by himself I'd rather not have him ride shotgun with the Twins when someone like Zack could really benefit from it. For me, I'd like to see him center the 3rd line and form a potent two-way duo with Hansen (could be great for the playoffs) or line up next to Kes on LW. Either way, he's talented and good enough of a player to succeed, either as the main or complementary piece on a line.
dangler696969
Higgins would work. He has a really nice shot and would be able to find the openings in the slot. However, I would rather have Burr with them it is just too deadly to not keep going back to. But when they dry up maybe throw Higgins with the twins and see what happens eh? 10Bure14Burrows
Higgins has decent hands for a gritty guy, kinda like Kassian but he's a lot more consistent. I don't think his passing is as good as Burrows and Kassian but the Sedins have made tons of players worse than Higgins look good in the past. Higgins could be a gritty Burrows...which the 1st line could really use. Burrows would also be better for Kesler than Higgins. This wouldn’t be a terrible lineup Sedin - Sedin - Higgins Burrows - Kesler - Kassian/Booth Hansen - Schroeder - Raymond

DownUndaCanuck
Burrows is playing well with the Sedins right now, but during their dry spell I wanted changes and Kassian was the best fit. Higgins isn't as big and good in front of the net - he's great at deflecting shots from the point (I can recall several goals tipped off shots off the stick of Hamhuis by Higgins), but isn't as big as Kassian. Kassian had great success with the twins and is, believe it or not, more skilled than Burrows. He has much faster hands than Burrows, is tougher to knock off the puck by a LONG shot (protects the puck better than anyone on this team including Henrik) and his size causes problems in front of the net, unlike Burrows who is handled by big defenders much more easily. Higgins is the perfect in-between of Kassian and Burrows, but a much better shot than both of them. If Burrows starts to slump, I'd like to see Kassian or Higgins get a go with the twins. deebow420
i will say what everyone is thinking.... bring back Anson Carter..haha kiddin. but a game on the Sedin line would help anybody's game..Higgin's would give them some more space out there like Kass did.. he just couldnt keep up to their game(in my opinion) but i think Burrows keeps up with his feet and his passing game just a little bit better... We just got Booth and Kesler back...give them time impatient canucks fans... Booth played like 12 minutes so far this year.. Kesler is getting back to Kesler quick..We will have three scoring lines rolling soon..

pianoman13
i Think we should keep Burrows there for the time being, The Sedins are starting to click again so why not just leave it as is for now?
higgyfan
The notion that anyone can play well with the Sedins is half true. The twins do make their teammates better players, but Burrows compliments them better than any player ever has. He gets the cycle game and has enough energy and aggression that he is crucial in getting keeping the cycle going. He just knows where to be at any given time. I like the idea of playing Kassian on that line, from time to time. He gives the top line a 'different look'. Right now, the line is scoring again, so I would only put Kass on the line in games where a change is needed or if the team has a good lead. AV needs to keep Kassian interested by giving him opportunities that will not only be challenging, but will continue to develop his potential and committment to the game. Mr. White
I still can't believe AV took Kassian off the Sedin line so soon. He does it all the time and it gets really annoying. He will randomly take a player off a line in the middle of a game and won't put them back for months.

ahf149
Higgins is not a power forward. Kassian is. I hate the fact that Vigneault took Kassian off the Sedin line. Burrows should play on the second line with Kesler (chemistry before) and Kassian should be up with the Sedins. Burrows is not a power forward, and he can't get rough with the opposing players like Kassian can, nor can he really stick up for them. The Sedins need a different element, not the same element to play with them, and that guy is Kassian. A power forward complementing two finesse players, that is a top first line.
