How about Luongo in the shootout?
also ya .880 isn't a great stat he made the saves to keep us in the game until the offense took over also maybe the fans should be looking at the numerous scoring chances they have been giving up for the past 4 games and be happy we have only given up 15 goals cause it could of been alot worse especially the chicago game which we had no business to be in
Both him and Cory let in 2 in their last shoot outs. What's your point?
BTW - Luongo got us the first win against the Hawks and we had no business being in that one neither.
Don't get me wrong - I was all for Luongo going and Schneider staying during the off season/lock out.
Now, after 16 games, I'm not so sure. I think we could get a lot more for Schneider than Luongo - not because Schneider is better, but because of his age/contract.
That said - Cory played well but only after letting in a soft one at the start - though it probably would have went in no matter who was in goal.
It was obvious the Canucks were't ready when the puck was dropped.
Kesler still has cob webs. 2 goals against caused because he didn't get the puck out of our zone - yet he did get 2 assists.
Some people complaining about our defense - I think it's a collective team play - that is, we get sloppy sometimes in our zone - forwards mainly - and a puck winds up in our net.
