Minnesota is in need of another top 4 defense-man since defensively they haven't been great. Columbus's new GM is apparently shopping Jack Johnson and the Wild could really use a guy like Johnson to get into the playoffs.

Min: D Jack Johnson
CBJ: 2013 1st round draft pick, D Jarred Spergeron and C Johan Larsson

RIP rick

Take it sleazy, and I'm out.

It's Jared Spurgeon, not Spergeron :P

That's a steep price to pay, Johan Larsson's strong two-way game would fit perfectly for the Wild, but they could use another d-man too.

They would rather wait for Dumba, Brodin, Scandella to mature rather then pay that steep price.

Source on that rumour about Johnson? I'm not so sure since the last I heard was Davidson has spoken with the new GM to ask they take some time to evaluate players before making any moves.

They won't try to spend too much on Johnson. Besides, why would Columbus further degrade their lineups?

So that President/secret GM Davidson can stand at the podium to select 1st overall pick

I actually think CBJ will try to base their rebuild around Johnson. He's their captain, and he's still quite young.

Jack Johnson is not Columbus's captain. Nobody on that team is.

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it
