Edler-Alberts are both big bodies and can lay the hits on and Hamhuis-Tanev have a little bit of experience playing together already.. Would be nice to see Barker come in, but he only comes in if Alberts plays bad. Alberts has been with us long enough that he deserves to come in next! This guy used to be a beast and I know that he hasn't been (at all) for some time, but we signed him... we might as well see if he can do anything at all in the big league again. I mean, we signed the guy, we already know what alberts brings to the table. May as well give him a chance and see if he's maybe improved his game or worked on his conditioning. I don't like him that much, but more than that, he really doesn't deserve to be a 7th/8th d-man and never get to play. He's still a capable defenceman, just not for us me thinks.
