Voting for the #1 greatest Canuck of all time is now closed. Congrats to Trevor Linden who was named the all time greatest Canuck with 40% of the votes.

Luongo was added to the list with an impressive 15 nominations, no one else had more than one nomination.

As it was pointed out that this poll was already done about a year ago, I've also added a poll question asking if you would like me to continue with this or if it seems redundant. With 118 votes last round there does appear to still be some interest.

Please remember to nominate someone to be added to the poll.

The list so far:

1) Trevor Linden

Fairly easy poll in my opinion. The verdict is still out since the Sedins are still playing through their career. Naslund was an elite sniper in his prime but never hall of fame material. Bure.... is in the hall of fame.

Most of you are too young to vote for Smyl, but if you think Linden is number one, Stan was the Linen of yesteryear. Thats how I voted.

This is the best CANUCK of all-time. Not necessarily the best career of all-time. That is why I am voting for Markus Naslund. He was our captain and up until a week ago our top scorer of all-time. He was the one I looked up to when I was a kid.

Gotta nominate Kirk.

Yup

Heart means a lot so if we vote for Linden as #1 we are taking that into account and Smyl arguably had even more heart than Linden did/does.

Same. Grew up watching Naslund but what Bure did as a Canuck, aside from being treated terribly and not wanting to be here and his refusal of community work (as I have been told), what he did on the ice is unmatched by any Canuck ever. Doesn't matter if he isn't our leading scorer in our franchise, what he did on the ice as a player himself, holds far more than what anyone else will ever do.

Voted Bure, one of the greatest pure snipers this team and the leauge has seen.

I couldn't decide between Bure, Smyl and Naslund, Smyl I never saw play, too young, so it came down to Nazzy and Bure. The '94 run will always hold a special place in my heart so, in the end I had to choose Bure.

Nominating Captain Kirk, in all of his pad stacking glory.

You know my vote. Henrik Sedin. Nominating Mattias Ohlund.

This is exactly why Bure doesn't hold a candle to either Sedin or even Naslund.

Chose Linden for #1, obviously.

Bure is amazing, but I had to go with Naslund for #2, he got me into the Canucks (I was too young to watch Bure in his hey day :( ).

Nominating Captain Kirk.

Nominating Bertuzzi

Bertuzzi was one of the first players to get me really excited about. I always liked my team, but I was never a fan boy before Todd, henceforth I am nominating Big Bert.
