alt kilgore
Lu should have been pulled - he had some unlucky goals and bounces but didn't look steady in net. Also a goal tender change isn't necessarily because he is playing bad...it can be used to help shift momentum of the game as well when D are slipping up. Also helps to share the pain between goalies! VAN_FAN_MATT
Thorougly disappointing and embarassing. The reffing was as horrible as the Canucks PK in this game. Horrible calls and just a lack of defensive effort from the Canucks. 4 of the 8 goals came off deflections, which you really can't fault them for as there really isn't much you can do about them, they were just horrible bounces. That one that went off of Ballard's stick, 99.9% of the time that goes over net or out of play. But the defense on all three 2nd period PPGs against was just astonishingly atrocious.

Hockey Fever
Why was Bieksa scratched, he's been one of the few D-men playing well?
Dogbyte
I bet you Detroit liked that game.

surtur
good to know that if your name is Kassian and you are even close to the net and the other teams player cross checks there own goalie in the face you will be the one getting a goaltender interference penalty... that was one of the worst calls all year. DIBdaQUIB
Do you guys really think we lost just because Bieksa wasn't playing.... I can count atleast 3 other reasons.

RunningWild
Canucks Army: http://canucksarmy.com/2013/2/24/canucks-drop-8-3-matinee-in-detroit-reasonable-reaction-is-expected Interesting recap. Basically Chris Tanev was the Canucks best d-man .... again. Only d-man to have a positive chance differential. Alberts and Ballard got eaten alive. DIBdaQUIB
Why w Why even bother to analyze this game? This is a game you throw in the garbage and move on. Not worth much. It's not our regular performance and there is always one or two games a year that just suck. What else is there to say.

BigRedMachine
We have it sooooo rough having to put up with having an elite team to watch and cheer for over the past 4 years. Boo hoo!
Noheart
Not going to name any names but I find it comical how a few guys on here are saying it wasn't Luongo's fault These same people said Cory's game against Dallas was all Cory's fault and even pointed out the week goals in Chicago. I hope this just shuts everyone up on both sides for a while Cause in hindsight, you look pretty stupid after something like this.
