Another night, another horrible coaching decisions. So many things wrong with this game that I don't know where to start.

But this is no surprise at all. This effort is expected from the Canucks. The coaching staff looking clueless and continue to chew his gum, looking like he has no trump card left.

Kassian is showing why he's still a "prospect" with "untapped potential" and he will get it eventually.

Kesler will never be what he was in 2010. One fluke year and nothing else to show besides that.

not to mention feasting on the NW weak teams.

Their record against winning teams speaks for itself.

AV should have been fired any time after that Boston game in the last regular season. The team has been playing like garbage since.

AV can only hide behind the Twins for so long.

Our goaltending as well.

Funny, didn't see this thread after the Nashville game... Wonder why?

If it was up to the "fans" we'd be the only team in NHL history to have 47 different coaches in one season...

I suppose your opinion is more valid than the 65 year old Canucks fan on a pension who has been a supporter with this team for 41+ years.

I mean...after all, you could be just another one of those lower bowl aristocrats.

So because you spend more of your income on Canucks games, your opinion is more valid?

And don't like people disagreeing with you, don't post on a public venue.

I wouldn't mind if they brought in someone new. The team might benefit from trying something a little different. AV is a fantastic coach but nomatter who it is behind the bench, teams can get stuck in a rut with the same guy every season.

In vancouver, vigneault has averaged around a .640 win %. I think that's about .100 more than what Lindy ruff's % is.

edit not 100% sure on stats, but yeah.

Every coach makes weird decisions.

Also realize,

06-07 we lose to the eventual stanley cup champs.
08-09 we lose to the hawks in the first round.(ok)
09-10 we lose to the eventual stanley cup champs.
10-11 we lose to the stanley cup champs.
11-12 we lose to the eventual stanley cup champs.

please.

The REF's the root of all evil, phantom calls nightly, nice to see the promotion of NHL in America has come down to this, Canadian Teams don't stand a chance south of the boarder.

All that shows me is that the Canucks are simply not good enough to beat the teams that are championship callibre.

Realize, Luongo has been here every single season that AV has been here. The first season AV employed a solid defensive system because our offense was horrendous, but it's quite clear that goaltending is the reason AV won that Jack Adams trophy. I think he did a pretty good job in the 10-11 season, but his message is not getting through anymore. It is time for a change. We have the players to get the job done and it is time for AV and co. to go.

You realize your on the internet right? Kind of a very accessible medium...so I don't know how 93 people reading this after a blowout loss is some kind of accomplishment?

People don't care about your opinion... this is CDC after a blowout game.

Also, what facts are you looking for? You didn't seem to post any fact. This looks like a subjective knee-jerk reaction to a blowout loss...

AV is one of the longest tenured coaches in the NHL for a reason... is that not a good enough fact?

Playoffs are a different season win enough to get to the playoffs and anything can happen.

You talk about the Canucks and being second best look at Detroit from 1988-1997 you have to lose first to learn to win. The sky isn't always falling.

The Canucks WILL win the cup in the next 3 years quote me on it.

Aug, When you make a list it really puts things in perspective. AV is doing a wonderful job. This thread would not have been created if the refs didn't take over the game in the 2nd period. I don't see how you can coach around the refs taking exception to a player on the ice. Kassian is showing why he is a prospect? Really? I think all players that make a leap to the NHL go through the same sort of learning process. Sour grapes for OP.

Mg isn't helping....he is over pricing luongo, he has 4 left side defensemen making +4m, a glaring hole at 3rd line center and we are still lacking toughness in the top 9 forwards!!!!

The last one bugs me the most because we have had this problem for the last few years and he still hasn't solved it!!!!
