DownUndaCanuck Posted February 26, 2013 Share Posted February 26, 2013 No team has any identity per se. Good teams have a perfect balance of skill, size, toughness, speed and grit. The Canucks have that too, but if anything our "identity" is that we play with a very low-percentage gambling defence that jumps up in the rush to help our offence score goals, and they're a very good passing team. Our identity is fine. Sure, Cup winning teams' identities are more about depth scoring skill up front and playing solid defence on the back-end, but we have enough gritty components to win in the playoffs. Maybe if one of their players is in a scoring slump we can let them get a couple...you know to make em feel good. Let's get rid of the Keslers, Burrows, Lappys, and Kassians on this team. Who's in???
