Canvoucer Vanuck
Thanks to the ridiculous ECHL playoff structure.... 14 teams in one conference, 9 in the other, and 8 teams make it from each. I get that the vast majority of teams are Eastern-based, but there could at least be a wildcard option since its nearly a given you'll make the playoffs if you're a Western team. stonecoldstevebernier
Kalamazoo's season has come to an end, as they lose 4-2 to Fort Wayne. Grenier: 2 goals, +1, 1 fight Friesen: +1 Sauve: 1 fight Mallet: 1 assist Expect to see our prospects on the K-Wings join the Wolves for their playoff push soon. Not sure how much ice time they'll see, but Grenier, Mallet, and Sauve all had very good seasons with the Wings.

NuxFan09
Solid seasons for Sauve, Mallet and Grenier, even if it's just the ECHL. Baby steps with these guys.
BananaMash
Next season Sauve, Mallet, and Grenier will play in the AHL if we buy our own farm team.

Hyzer
Ah, that. Yeah, it's frustrating to see Cannata on the bench almost every game. What's even worse is that he could have been helping Kalamazoo get to the playoffs as their goalie Joel Martin was probably burned out from playing so much. Which would have led to some playoff experience for our kids in K-zoo - would do them some good before heading up to the Wolves. Just a giant f***-up all around. wshdrvvn
i thought cannata could have had a really good thing with the wings. having a solid echl vet and him could have been great for a playoff push but they refused to do it that way. same goes for the wolves! what is it wolves management sees that us fans miss? we see the games, cannata looks good consistantly
Canvoucer Vanuck
Yep. So sad. He could be getting premiere playing time in the playoffs, but hes eating pine. Same with our other prospects in the ECHL, they could be in the AHL playing against men, but nope. ECHL.
