Burrows, do the refs really 'love' him or what?

dont think if lappy, kes and burrows were not here, things would be different. the refs would find new wipping boys.

rule by intimidation, lowest common form of officiating. bring on the video review and challenge. seems to have cleaned up officiating in tennis, football etc.

So you admit that he is targeted. But justify it by saying it makes him play better? What if one of these targeted hits end his career?

Right now he is a poster boy for what is wrong with the NHL. The basketballization of the league is complete. It's all about star power these days.

We need refs that take pride in living in the moment not the past.

bring on the video review. if your wrong, you loose your timeout. if your wrong a second time, bench minor.

how cool would that be to get a tripping clall reversed to a diving call. instead of killing a penalty you would have a powerplay.

not many players in this league can beat the camera. that would clean up the diving and poor officiating.

from the nashville side of things, its in there game plan to get burrows out from in front of the net. if you look back to a lot of our goals from the point this year, burrows is blocking the goalies vision. he is on top of his game in front of the net.

the refs choosing not to call penalties, allows the opposition to accomplish their goal much easier.
