I don't see Winnipeg moving Byfuglien unless someone decides to overpay for him.

If I am Winnipeg - I ask for either B. Schenn or Couturier right upfront.

As good as Byfuglien is (offensively speaking) they'll have a nice defense pairing in a few years with Bogosian and Trouba. Add in Enstrom and some bottom pairing guys like Postma and they should be pretty decent defensively.

If they can get another top flight centre to slot behind (or ahead) of Scheifele, they could become really good.

Agreed, I would ask for the same, and more.

So, this is actually a Gagne article that didn't seem likely because of other rumours but it actually kinda rules out a deal for someone like Buf now (cap wise). Pretty misleading if you ask me.

If this team lets go of Sang he will burn this team next year.

Byfuglien is one of our top defenseman. Philly would have to overpay to the max to get him.

And I think its about time they drop referring to Buff as "D/F". As far as I've heard, Buff wants to play D for the rest of his career. I doubt he'll willing move back to F.

If only he could get control of his conditioning. The guy is tall and big, should be rocking guys left and right. However, aside from a huge hit in his first shift in the first preseason game last year against Columbus, I can't really think of a time that he really bulldozered anyone. There are times where he is lagging around in the defensive zone, and I think that if he shaved off a few pounds and hit the bike, he'd be even more effective.
