CanuckRow
From Andrew Walker on Sportsnetsnet's Fan960 In Calgary: @fan960walker As if this day couldn't make #Flames fans puff out cheat any more.... Was just told by source that #Canucks also issued Offer sheet.
MayRayDown
probably didn't want to play behind Henrik and Kesler. Also probably didn't offer the $$ the Flames did

Sanford
If this is what Gillis had up his sleeve then this is just laughable. Since O'Reilly just accepted a 5 million dollar offersheet Gillis would have done the same? Were putting another 5 million in a non-proven player? A player from a losing team to boot... Sigh.. This management team is turning into a big joke.

goalie13
There's a difference between filing an offer sheet with the league and making an offer to the player and his agent. I'm sure several teams made inquiries to O'Reilly, and it turned out that the Flames made the offer that he liked the best. It happens. Good on the Canucks for trying to land him though. Also good on the Canucks for not overpaying him just to land him.
DeNiro
Lol at Flames fans being proud that he signed the Flames offer sheet. It's because they offered him 6.5 million. Only Feaster is dumb enough to offer that much. And I bet the Avs match, so it's all irrelevant anyways.
apollo
Rumor... that's all it is. Well never know I guess, hopefully mg didn't offer as much money

MJDDawg
Uuummm...I don't think the Canucks could sign him to an offer sheet (contract) after he's already signed an offer sheet (contract) with the Flames. This is BS.

CB007
@patersonjeff Quote If O'Reilly chose CGY over #Canucks, that'd be Nux first outright loss to NW division opponent this season LOL!
Lockhart
We probably offered less money. I couldn't see Gillis offering him more than 4.
