CanucksSayEh
This is the guy that Kassian KO'd? is he anything but a plug?
MayRayDown
so sestito > Volpatti? That's what this move says. I don't know much about sestito but hope he can keep up with our 4th line who is fast with Lapiere and Weise
I Got A Boy
Sestito tells CKWX that "I'll bring physical precense, fight if I have too and chip in some goals in Vancouver"
AriGold
Damn.... 6'5 228lbs.. I know he plays like a big boy too, maybe he can teach Kassian to finish his hits.
Xbox
Zac Rinaldo took Tom Sestitos roster spot in Philadelphia. I am also a Flyers fan. Sestito is nothing special but also shouldnt be in the AHL either. These players (Volpatti, Sestito..) are a dime a dozen
ChenWei91
Volpatti >>>>>>>> Sestito. Gillis sometimes...
I Got A Boy
Sestito says he wasn't playing much in Phily and to great a new start in Vancouver is awesome. But I thought edm was gunna claim cuz they need biggie guys
coconutsnow
6' 5" 230 lbs Left Wing 25 years old 7 pts in 34 NHL games Who knows.... ??
elvis15
Well there goes the belief that Volpatti was sent down to free up a roster space. If we can pick someone else up, it means we sent him down because we thought we could do better. Sestito isn't really much different... bigger version, not a an accomplished fighter though... at least as a heavyweight.
I Got A Boy
Anyway, the people who criticized Canucks for losing Volpatti can be happy they got a younger, bigger guy with a better AHL scoring record.

canucklehead44
I made a thread to acquire this guy a few years ago back when he was with Columbus. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1054468-tom-sestito-fighting-to-keep-his-spot-with-philadelphia-flyers He scored 53 goals in 79 games his last year in the OHL so it seems like he has some decent mitts. Hits hard, skates well for a big guy, fights ALOT (even if he isn't the best at it). Willing to stand up for teammates as well.
NuxFan09
Hello? /topic/340730-waivers-canucks-claimed-sestito/">http://forum.canucks...laimed-sestito/
Provost
Considering the Canucks announced they moved Pinizzotto back to the roster and sent him down on a conditioning stint after Volpatti was claimed, I think that actually confirms it rather than debunks it. Avicii
Sweeet. I wouldn't say it's an upgrade, but i feel like GMMG truthfully believed Volpatti wouldn't be claimed, as stupid as that sounds. It's not a shot at who's better, it's just Volpatti was claimed when GMMG thought he wouldn't be. The guy's huge, scored 53 Goals in the OHL.. Hopefully he can chip in more than Volpatti's 3 goals in like 60 games or something.
