If you look at the team photo that's already been posted in the Millionaire's thread here, you'll see he doesn't have it on there. I am a huge Ballard fan but I will wait to see if he is actually wearing an A next game. I just don't think he is one, probably had someone elses jersey on. ChuckNORRIS4Cup Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 BTW even though this topic says Ballard is named Canucks Alternate, not one place yet has it been announced or even updated on the Canucks roster. So far all the speculation is a photo with Ballard with an A on his jersey, who really knows, but the team. Just for everyones info, 3 out of the 4 Alternates are currently out of the lineup, so there will be a few other players, probably showing an A from time to time. I'm pretty sure there will be Canuck -fans complaining even if this team wins the Stanley Cup. Explaining why we shouldn't have won because of the poor decisions by GMMG at the deadline & AV for chewing gum during games and for Kesler diving to draw a penalty in the corner in game 7 etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ossi Vaananen Posted March 2, 2013 Share Posted March 2, 2013 Well let's see, Bieka injured, Kesler injured, Malhotra on IR, Salo signed elsewhere, so we've pretty much gone down the list of guys who would normally wear it. I'm surprised it's not Burrows, he's been here for a while and gets more time than Ballard. Usually more ice time corresponds with being able to talk to the refs more often, hence the 'A'.
