TimberWolf
Murzyn wore number 5. Diduck was 4 in that era.

TOMapleLaughs
Woo. Goon it up, baby! That'll distract the fans from all the losing.
Jai604
Don Taylor probably begged him to do it to have another refrence in the highlight reel. "Ballard wearing Dana Murzyn's old number 4" etc.
Vancanwincup
I was hoping he would take number 27. At first glance he reminds me of Sergio Momesso. Somebody get that boy a plate of spaghetti!Thats of course considering Manny is done for sure.
Vancanwincup
Let me guess, when you saw that we got this guy you: 1) Went on youtube 2) Watched three fights 3) Determined he sucked 4) Came on CDC to tell everyone he sucks That's pretty much the extent of alot of CDCers ability to analyze talent. Sestito29
Who said no one in the league wanted him? Several other teams put in a bid for him including the Blackhawks.

Sestito29
The Oilers could not have, or we would not have got him. They would have had the option long before us. Lowest person in the standings that put in a waiver offer gets him. We were the lowest to put in an offer (only way we got him) but the Oilers are way below us in the standings. They could not have put in an offer.

WL Canuck Fan
As of today they are basing standings on current ones. Which is why the Blackhawks couldn't have snagged him. Oilers are lower, they had INTEREST, but doesn't mean they had to claim him. They already have Eager playing over 10 min a night on the 4th line and Hordi in OKC waiting for a chance. WL Canuck Fan
I believe we went to the front of the line since Volpatti was just claimed off the team. The Habs also had a claim as well on him.
nuck nit
You nailed it there DeNiro, I can not believe the amount of "num sculls" posting he can not win fights, when he has won just as many as he has lost. I would say most of his fights are draws. Then these same people rave about Volpatti's average fighting skills when he gets his ass handed to him everytime he fights someone 20 pounds heavier and 2 inches taller. canidiot
Who do you want? Some people won't be happy until we have a fire breathing robot assassin in our lineup.
