Gotta agree with this tweet:

Dan Murphy@sportsnetmurph

Travel no excuse against a #flames team with Danny Taylor in net. One soft Luongo goal and one ill timed AV chirp cost #canucks the game.

That being said, the Canucks clearly didn't have enough gas to give a full effort in this one. It's been a long 24 hours for them. No better game to be out of gas than against a shoddy Flames team. This is one of those games that will be pretty meaningless when all is said and done.

Luongo weak first goal. Played well rest of the game though.

Av takes a useless penalty. Benches Ballard over garrison hamhuis Eddy and Alberts who all played worse than Ballard would

People complain when AV chews his gum and doesn't say sh!t.

Now when he says sh!t, people blame him..

Pick one!

Ballard benched again. I was at work for the game, how did Barker play? Can someone please summarize?

Can't speak for everyone, but I thought he had a solid game. He got an assist, took a few good shots at the goal, played pretty solid in the d-zone. Wasn't a huge splash, but he wasn't a bonehead so that's a plus.

Not impressed at all with Sestito though.

I like how Barker always takes the shot from the point. Got an assist on a rebound from a blue-line wrister. Other than that, didn't notice him much.

We just ran out of gas in the 3rd... good lesson for the team to bury some of the chances when we are dominating.. not too concerned. The team played well 1st and 2nd considering it is a back to back and the flight delays.

Just win the next one!

I wonder if Av will be saying,

We were doing well protecting had a good control of the game, until then Max, um I mean me, takes a stupid penalty 100 feet from the play.

If AV really wants to be heard, he should say something in his interviews not worrying about a fine.

I personally am glad this happend. I've been begging for av to show some emotion. I blame the ref for the crapty call rather than av for screaming. I hope he takes a fine and calls them out after

Refs dictate another outcome in the NHL .. how surprising. These guys belong in the bush leagues where they'll actually get a call right. Too much power given to them

Guys, the reffing was bad.

But Calgary was the better team, we had a good period or period and a half, but 20-30 minutes doesn't win a 60 minute hockey game, and that has been our problem.

Yes the reffing was bad but this game should never have been tied. Calgary was the better team from the goaltending on out.

Hamhuis, Burrows each -3
Sedins, Garrison each -2

^ This and poor goaltending is why they lost. No excuses for a loss against a bottom feeder like Cgy when Minny is 2 pts behind Van. Not to mention there was an unknown goaltender in their net.

Gillis needs to start tracking reffing and how they call against his team. I do. Sutherland, O'Hallaran and the other few officials who clearly dislike the Canucks need to be talked about to the league. It's been since the Cup Finals - I've seen enough. Gillis needs to take care of this.

Elliott Pap@ElliottPap

So is Kevin Bieksa team MVP? Canucks 0-3-0 without him in lineup and have been outscored 16-7. #whoknew

Tanev is the bright spot as usual. Raymonds line played really well again. On to da next....

My god, one penalty lost us the game? I'd rather take 1 bench minor a game than 1 soft goal a game.

Stop blaming the Refs guys. It's their own fault, stop playing like losers. They go out their play a partial game. Hardest worker? Yet again, Hansen.

Im ???? pissed, that damn ref costed us the game because his ???? feelings got hurt.

Who the hell gives that penalty with 8 minutes left in a 2-2 game?!

The ref and his ego got in the way of a tight hockey game, way to not get involved dumbass!

AV had good reasons to bitch at goof, two high hits from McSrubban on Tanev and Henrik didnt get called!

How to golss over that 1st goal that came at a time when the Nucsk were in control and the game would have been 2-0 shortly after.

If Lu didn't help lose the game, then neither did AV. Both cost 1 goal.

I noticed him a couple of times.. he's not bad, but he's hunting the big hit all the time and he takes himself out of the play when he misses it. I noticed he ran into the boards after missing a check once or twice and nearly fell over. Not exactly inspiring.
