DeNiro
BS from AV. So did he sit down with Edler and Garrison and have the same talk about their last 3 games? He obviously doesn't get the same treatment as the rest of the D.

Quoted
Hamhuis Garrison Edler Tanev Ballard Barker If that last pairing works, that should be a good top 6. The only think I didn't like about Barker's game is he seemed scared to pinch. Even if it was a free puck and he could probably get there first, he backed off. That led to a couple of chances at our end. I don't know if that's him playing it safe because he was told to do so or if he is aware that he won't be able to catchup because of a lack of speed. If the speedy Ballard can offset that, it should be a good pairing.
LeanBeef
No one I hope. The guy is embarrassing. To be built like that and be so ineffective.............it could only happen to us. But fret not, Gillis will spin this as another one of his master moves. Remember folks, MG's motto "don't sweat the small stuff"

Canuck Surfer
No disagreement on Sestito or Kassian! But as the OP's notes say; their team has 56 points from its top line (1 more than us) and only 2.2 goals for per game, where we have 2.8 and whine about secondary scoring. The key to the game becomes very exceedingly simple; stop Marleau Couture and Thornton! Ahem, but is Raymond going to centre our stopper 2knd line in the defensive zone against Thornton? It might be tough, we don't have the horses. My bet is we see the Sedin's matched up against them all night, and like against LA (where they duelled Kopitar) if they win; so do we! That's the story line right there! Sestito should be given the night off from fighting and Kassian should rematch Clowe. This game will be decided on how well our goaltender plays. Alain should hit the ATM before puck drop and let the refs know he will be watching them closely.

BuretoMogilny
Not that I want to be a party pooper, but if we lose tonight and Minnesota happens to win against Chicago, we're down to the 8th spot. And if Detroit wins, we're in 9th tomorrow morning. To all the optimistic people who were arguing and saying lately "We're still 3rd, we'll win division, we'll make it", well.... TIME TO PANIC!!!!!! DIBdaQUIB
No, it would be a mistake for him to be in the line up this season. Most people here seem to think he'll be the answer offensively right now, not gonna happen he's too inexperienced. Hopefully he plays great for the Wolves for the rest of their season and we'll see what he can do in the NHL next year.
BuretoMogilny
MG said he hoped to get him a few games with the big club this year. It would be good to get a look at the kid. He already has enough size so he doesn't need to wait to "grow up". Some guys mature quickly and can make the jump to the NHL earlier than others. I hope he can bring it next year along with Gaunce and some others. We need to keep the youth coming and it would be great to see some of these kids play with and learn from the Sedins.
