centsay
It is always good to improve your club by reducing the players who take bad penalties at bad times. This will cost the Canucks in the playoffs. Maxim LaPierre 82 games 130 pim with only 9 goals and 10 assists This player could be traded for anybody. Even some tough guy enforcers dont have that many pim Cody Franson from Sicamous BC only 16 pim in 61 games 30 pim in 80 games the year before... This is a trade that will greatly improve the Vancouver Canucks hockey team.
Peace Bond
Makes sense, seeing as we have a surplus of centres...

Beluga Whale
Giving away centers is the only solution when one gets injured. Great idea.
Mookie Wilson
First, Lapierre is a fine fourth line centre, and that is currently the position at which the Canucks are weakest. Second, there's no way Toronto trades Cody Franson for Max Lapierre.
MoneypuckOverlord
anyone who knows a thing or 2 about cody Franson is that he's a friendly Giant. No joke. Jordan Schroeder is more physical then him. You thought Burke lucked out when they gave up so little for him?
MayRayDown
Burrows takes some bad penalties. So trade Burrows? Also you should look into how they got the PIMs. Lapierre had 15 minors, that was 10 on our team, Burrows was first with 35. also Perry had 127 PIMs in 80 games. Wonder if the Ducks are giving him away for free... PS I'm not saying trade Burr but if you're saying lapierre because of his bad penalties you might want to look at other Canucks with that logic
spliced
He also hits, wins faceoffs and plays center. Who is gonna make up for all that if he's traded?
timberz21
If anything i'd trade Lapierre for his Yapping and not backing it up.

zombieksa
Map Lapiere is EASILY the 3rd best French Canadian on the team. Can't trade that.
Wiznac
I know your new... so I will cut you some slack. Max Lapierre has put up 20 points DESPITE being a 4th liner who starts 70% of his shifts in the defensive zone. His offense is actually fairly impressive given the situation
