Brian Campbell Scott Clemmenson Erik Gudbranson Drew Shore 2013 1st Vancouver trades........Luongo* Edler Ballard Schroeder 2014 1st + 2013 3rd *Vancouver takes 25% of Luongo's contract from beginning of 2017 -2018 on. Basically,I see it this way Campbell = Edler in talent, Edler is younger and cheaper Clemmenson= Schroeder Luongo/Ballard + Picks = Gundbranson/Shore + Picks Risk on both sides/rewards for both sides/Money somewhat equal with Van taking 25% Florida takes more salary early ( about 3.5 million per year ) Sorry about Edler, just really tired of him not using what God gave him.........he(I) need a change! His cap hit is simply too high and it's not like he comes of the books next year. Lu and Ballard both played fantastic in Florida so they know what they are getting, all at the expense of 1 of the dozen top prospects and an top 35 draft pick.
