-Vintage Canuck-
I would set the lines to: Sedin - Sedin - Kassian Raymond - Schroeder - Hansen Booth - Burrows - Higgins Sestito - Lapierre - Weise
Magikal
AV plays favourites and is looking like a complete idiot because of it. I can't wait until he's fired.

Noheart
ya they accountable but it is the coaches job to motivate and kick players butt if they r not playing to potential... a good coach would sit there star player if they can't play up to their level. Down by the River
Anyone ever think that maybe the players should be partly accountable for not playing well.
Common sense
I'd be fired instantly by Mike Gillis, who handles all player transactions as well as coaching changes. I know it's a stupid thread, but at least get some of the facts right.
zoner.
If the Canucks fired Vigneault and hired me, I'd immediately step down on the grounds of 'what damn qualifications do I have'?
TheTruthHurts
If they hired me, I could never be as good as AV. None of you would.

Five For Fighting
I wouldn't change the roster because I am only the coach. I would bring a sense of urgency and passion to this team. I would instill a new and great culture...one in which the players are commuted to playing hard for each other.
Sestito29
I would ask MG to sign Ruff, step down and ask to be put as the 4th line center. 6'3 212, right hand shot and I played some rep hockey back in Bantam/Midget .
StopesisCanucks
i would sit elder for at least 2 games i would be breathing fire down the necks of the players

nuck nit
As I ,along with 99.99999% of all CDC'ers have zero possibility or credentials to ever dream of being the head coach of the Canucks, I would stipulate my contract allows me to employ any associate of the Canucks past or present to retain my position if I deem that I am not worthy of the position/and/or cannot carry out my duties to the extent that is expected of me. I am guaranteed my salary,no matter what. I would then hire Veenyo back for 75%-90% of what I secured in salary and I could watch games for free with my new paycheque that Gillis contractually must give me each fortnight. KING ALBERTS
Look at what happened to LA Kings last season. There wasn't much changes on the players, just a fired up smart coach who paired up the right players. I am sure you know what happened to LA King at the end of the season.
