Andrew Ebbett has points in 8 straight games, the longest current points streak in the AHL. Say what you want about Ebbett, but there's a reason Gillis didn't want to lose him. He's a valuable asset for the farm team. Having great AHL players in your organization can only be a good thing for your prospects in the AHL.

I can't believe the luck this team has had with prospects getting injured, suspended, benched, or cut from their team.

If they had taken Rodin in the first round, it would have been a disaster. People already complain enough about Schroeder...

This is why I would have no problem trading a second round pick at the deadline. I mean, would anyone really care if we traded a player like Sauve, Rodin, or Mallet for a good rental?
