If you could time-travel to past and reverse one dumb decision

LOL @ People saying Hodgson.

Neely trade takes the cake for sure, the worst move in franchise history, not only trading him but also trading the first rounder which even hurt us modern day with us having to face Lucic in the final.

Runner up for me is some draft picks, like not grabbing Jagr, Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Giroux, Kopitar, Zetterberg, Perron, exc. exc. exc.

Another one would be Mark Messier NOT breaking Trevor Linden's ribs in game 6.

A lot of you seem really short sighted, or have only been fans for two years (which is fine, its good for the game to grow). But, for Hodgson to be the biggest mistake in franchise history is laughable. I'm a fan of Hodgson, but he would not be the savior of this team. So many other events have had more significance in Canucks history.

Either

1) Convince Labbat's and the NHL to move the Oakland Seals to Vancouver in 1968. The Vancouver Seals?

Trade up to Buffalo's first round pick in 1970, then keep the 1st overall pick in 1971, and have Guy Lafleur and Gilbert Perreault as the cornerstones of the franchise.

2) Not trade Neely, and draft Sakic with the first rounder we wouldn't have given away.
