Situation69
Brendan Mikkelson #29 - D Tampa BayAge: 25DOB: 1987/06/22POB: Regina, Sask, CanadaHeight: 6-3 Weight: 205lbsShoots: LNHL Seasons: 4Drafted by Anaheim in 2005 (2/31).Current Status: On roster Brendan would be a good fit for the Canucks. He is young and big for his age. Plus you can never have enough defenseman for this team. Specially the injured proned ones. His salary is only $600,000 and an RFA. Mike Gillis pull the trigger on this one if you are man enough to claim or make a trade on something. This team needs major upgrades in my mind. What are your opinions on this one Canuck fans? Please be respectful and honest. Go Canucks Go Prediction for tonights game is: Canucks 3 Wild 0 Cheers

Hugemanskost
Another soft, left-shooting, depth defender is not what is needed to improve the Canucks. If Mikkelson shot R, it would make more sense. Also, the additional $600 000 added to the cap for someone who will most likely be waived again pretty quickly is silly.

Sestito29
8 D on the roster is not enough? Only way I can see this working is if they waive Alberts while picking him up and save about 600K in cap space. But at least Alberts brings size and hitting. How the west was won
You disrespect MG by suggesting he is not man enough to act on your knee-jerk whims and then ask CDC for only respectful replies? Hmmm. Respect is earned. Gillis has earned his. You have a long way to go.

DownUndaCanuck
After we snagged Sestito, won't the Canucks be really low down on the waivers list anyway?

Canuck hero
I was not disrespecting Mike Gillis at all. Knee Jerk whims?!?! That's too funny! I wasn't asking CDC for the respect, I was asking for the fans to be respectful on this certain topic there D.A.
