oldnews
For some reason I thought the Ballard deal was more recent. Fixed my post. Higgins deal was great. Was that MG's last good trade? Just might be.

InTheCrease
Ask Brian Burke. I actually wouldn't mind Campbell + for Lu + as long as the cap hits level out.

Tangelos
**Canucks willing to trade everyone except: Schneider, Kesler, Sedins, Kassian, Jensen, Burrows, Bieksa, Hamhuis, Edler, Bieksa, Garrison....
MJDDawg
The key to that quote is this: "the goal for Florida now is to try to move a few contracts and see if the club can set the course for next year...". They're not just going to give away young talent for nothing, and if one of the young studs were available, then we better be prepared to also take on another of Florida's bad contracts. Given we have almost no cap room now and that the salary cap is coming down next season, adding another onerous contract doesn't make sense. CanuckRow
No thanks. Versteeg is not what this team needs... nor is another LH dman. Glad they're willing to trade everyone except their promising young prospects. **Canucks willing to trade everyone except: Schneider, Kesler, Sedins, Kassian, Jensen, Burrows, Bieksa, Hamhuis, Edler, Bieksa, Garrison.... stonecoldstevebernier
I think (hope) we've learned from the Ballard and Booth trades, but I'm not opposed to some smaller deals with them. Trade a pick or two for Shawn Matthias, plays centre and is a big body. Either him or Alex Petrovic, right hand prospect d-man, although I suspect he'd be worth more to the Panthers than draft picks, as they're looking to move out roster players and not prospects. Monty
Tanev > Gudbranson (Don't even start with the "Gudbranson has potential to be better" argument)
Master Mind
Out of the Ballard and Booth deals, we still have both. Florida has Howden, and lost the rest to waivers and free agency. Unless we consider Booth and Ballard to be negative value, we probably won those deals as well imo.

p0o0o0f
We need a Rhanded D and a 2nd line C and a goalie coming back if we trade one. If we give up a goalie I expect those in return if not more. They are in desperate need of a Goalie.
Tangelos
This is the stupidest post I've read in a while.Everyone loves Tanev, so congratulations on adding to the long list of hard-ons that everyone has for him. But for anyone to think that he's equal in talent or value to Gudbranson, must be brain dead.
Master Mind
Samuelsson was on the 4th line at times if you still remember. At least Booth is healthy, playing, skating and hitting and is young enough to potentially have good seasons ahead of him. The rest I agree. MoneypuckOverlord
If you think Gudbranson is better than Tanev right NOW, then check yourself into your local insane asylum. Tell the Joker I said hi.
