It's time for a major shakeup in Canuckland. I'm sick of seeing those two bums diving all over the ice and wasting minutes at a time throwing the puck back and forth and then losing it without even getting a shot on net. They aint what they used to be and they aint getting any younger. Why not give them to a team like Columbus for a first round pick... if we want to be contenders in the future (this seasons already kaput) we need to start rebuilding NOW.!

The Sedins are the least of our problems. Perhaps you've noticed that they are #1 and #2 in team scoring by a fair margin.

Now I've seen it all on CDC lol...

To Vancouver:
1st Round Pick

To Columbus:
Daniel Sedin
Henrik Sedin

This is how you win at the internet.

Second post on the board and this is the crap you come up with?

I would sooner trade 90% of the team before the Sedins.. what about Raymond? What about Lapierre? What about Booth? What about AV?!?!?!?

Do me a favor and get your head out of your backside.. fool.

They've been too good for too long. we will let their contracts run out and then decide what to do with them. if they aren't being too productive then we will either sign them for cheap, or trade them before they become UFA

Personally, I'm not worried about them. Their style of play should let them continue to play at a high level until their mid to late 30's. They aren't made of glass like Kesler.

They actually are pretty useless
They don't do anything for this team or franchise
We would be so much better without them
We need more pessimistic threads

Trollin Trollin Trollin....

Why would the Canucks trade the 2 most consistent players on the team?

McCoy: We were speculating. Is God really out there?
Kirk: Maybe he's not out there, Bones. Maybe he's right here. [points to his heart]

I'm very much in favour of a big shakeup involving moving at least one core player but no way should it be the Sedins. The only way those two should ever leave Vancouver is if late in their careers they request a trade for one last shot at the cup.

If the Canucks could get back enough of a return in terms of current assets - as in a serious overpayment of young impact players - I would consider it actually.....but to Columbus for a pick? GTFO the internet.....

Because the alternative is letting them walk at the end of next year. The only purpose in keeping them would be if we had a shot at the cup and it's pretty clear now that we don't. Might as well get a good return while we still can.

Not unless we're rebuilding. It's not as crazy as some people think, I find this team relies on them far too much. Won't happen though, but i hope they take a paycut on their next contracts (although they're already a bargain), for the future of our team. Ryan Callahan is a free agency target the same year as the sedins that would look great on the wing for us, if we can take booth off the books.

I really think we need a shakeup, our core needs a change.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

They will want to play for a team with a legitimate shot at the cup before they get too old and their skills disappear completely. If the Canucks get bounced in the first round again, guaranteed they will want out.
