SOO WHAT IF WE MISS OILERS FANS STILL LOVE THEIR TEAM AND YOU JUST WANNA QUIT BECAUSE OF NOT MAKING THE PLAYOFFS FOR ONE YEAR COME ON TRUST ME WE WILL WIN THE CUP SOON JUST DONT HATE THE TEAM ps just found out i was righting in capitals sorry

I will always be a fan. Seen leaner years then this but my level of participation is another matter.

See, I will never turn in my uniform, but my rabidness will decrease based on the EFFORT the team puts on the ice, not on the scoreboard. Gotta give us something to cheer for and if it is not wins, it had better be effort.

See the losing seasons in Montreal, Toronto and Columbus, for example. Yeah sure, they stunk or like the Jackets stink still, but they played their guts out. That's all I ask. Do the best you can and leave nothing on the ice after a game. The San Jose loss, I could handle but the Minny loss was deplorable.

I am wondering how many people will choose to not watch the Canucks next year if they miss the playoffs this year. Have we become a city that expects the team to make the playoffs every year without any hiccups? Is that realistic of us to expect? I have heard people ragging on the canucks lately saying they suck... it doesn't seem like this city likes losing very much.

with the 1% chance of error, i'd say its 100% no... props canucks fans, i was actually surprised to see the 1:75 ratio.

am i disapointed with the team, including the GM and coach? hell yes... am i going to stop watching them? well, they weren't a playoff team when i started watching, so why the hell would i stop now?

OP - you are obviously young, and haven't been cheering the team on for long... you can't act like people do on CDC in real life - you will get beat up. you're welcome.

Well, I've been less inclined to make sure I sit through every single game when they are playing this poorly. I just have better things I can do with my time than watch this lackluster effort and get myself frustrated and angry. However, by no means am I going to stop watching altogether.. I just wish they were putting in the effort every game.. even if they were losing, I think just seeing them skate hard and throw lots of hits would be way more exciting than what we're getting. Playing with no emotion right now.
