CrippledCanuck
As per Rob Blake of NHL Department of Player Safety - Four Games He sited Interference, History, Injury and believed no intent but also there was no attempt to avoid even given enough time to change direction http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=660020&navid=DL|NHL|home

ThaBestPlaceOnEarth
I hate to side with Perry, but that is just a terrible suspension, one of the worst.
-DLC-
Perry's got a reputation and needs to have a bit more self awareness and control when out there. Sure, he plays hard but with an underlying dirty edge, it's bound to backfire.

schlaBAM
It's funny people always say Cory Perry and Corey Schneider when it's actually the opposite lol. Perry deserved at least 5 games.
CrippledCanuck
Was visiting the Ducks site, they seem pissed, most of them are saying the league has it out for them, conspiracy, no suspension should have resulted etc etc, kind of like how we are when it comes to reffing issues here lol

The Brahma Bull
Perry's a dirtbag. I'm glad they gave him something. Can you imagine how many games Torres would have gotten for this?
CrippledCanuck
If Hansen could get 2 for what was a questionable suspension amount imo, Corey I think didnt get the max of 5 or an in person hearing because of his status as a star player but they had to come hard at the same time, good compromise though. Thirteen
He should of just got fined for that. 4 games is much but hopefully Perry can learn how improtant he is to his team not to be running around like that. Sure finish your checks but makes also make sure your timing is right. The speed of the game today players going hitting the boards at full speed and it makes for good hockey hits. Had the Wild player got up I dont think it would of been 4 games. I dont like how a player must be hurt for a suspension to happen, I mean some dirtier hits then this go without a suspension because the player doesnt get hurt.
