Here's hoping the Wolves go undefeated the rest of the season! :)

You do realize that good coaches regularly get paid 2+ million per season, right?

Gillis makes over 4 million.

I would love to see a reference that backs that statement up about coaches salaries.

Gretzky made a lot and I know that Babcock makes about $2 mil.

Manny's making $2.5 so if he isn't THE highest he's likely in the top 5.

He has been a member since 06, I think he knows who Gillis is. He is showing income desparity in management compared to Malhotra's salary. I don't know if people say stuff like this to be a troll, put up their post count, or just cause they don't actually read the thread they are posting in.

You do realize that he was directly responding to the post of theminister "Highest paid coach in the world of hockey right now"
No where in there was the income disparity between General Managers and Malhotra's salary being addressed it was the disparity between coaches and Malhotra's income being discussed, I dont know if people say stuff like this to be a troll or up there post count or just cause they dont actually read what they are posting in. I may have come across as rude but it wasnt on purpose I was just correcting what was probably a mistake in typing ie he probably meant to write AV not MG. You on the other hand decided to be a douche on purpose.

Edit - Read the title its about Malhotra in a coaching position NOT a general manager position

In 2010 Mike Babcock signed an extension for 2mil at the time making him
im the highest paid coach so I would assume w renewals and such there has to be someone now who makes more

That would be great to have Schroeder come back as a bit of a faceoff specialist with the upside he has for other areas of his game

I'd be surprised if there was a coach in the NHL that made more than Babcock. Quenneville maybe.... maybe....

Get rid of Newell, the powerplay guy and tell the boys to come up with their own pp plans, then get manny back there as an assistant coach.. He's perfect for all the youngsters that are going to be coming up the system soon.

This could end up being a great experience for Manny. Lets him stay in the game and he may have the skills required to coach at a professional level. He's definitely a 'player's player' and is well respected by his teammates.

This could be a huge bonus for Manny and the Nucks.
