Hey guys.

So tonight (vs. Nashville) we're going to fly a new attempt at a goal song.

Over the past almost 2 seasons, we've been using "Electric Worry" by Clutch. This song certainly is original (we're the only pro sports team using it) and it was met with some initial mixed feelings, yet has caught on rather well.

That said, and as I said back when we started playing it, it is good, but perhaps not the BE ALL AND END ALL of goal songs.

So keep your ears peeled tonight, and let me know what you think.

If you're going with the BKs anyway, try "Next "Goal""

...My next goal

Will be nothing like my ex goal

I made mistakes back then

I'll never do it again

With my next goal'll

Be nothing like my ex goal

That was a painful dance

Now I got a second chance...

("Tighten Up" would also be a smart choice for our D)

Vomanos didn't seem to pump up the crowd that much.

Don't mind this song, but loved the sirens! Keep it or go back to Holiday! :bigblush:

Waaay better than Vomanos.

Good choice! I could definitely get used to hearing that 6 or 7 times a night. :)

Couldn't hear it very well, had to turn the tv up to hear it, I preferred Electric Worry to what I actually heard, maybe go to Wolfmother - Joker and the Thief.

I love it. I didn't read this thread before going to work so when we scored that opening goal it was a total surprise. Awesome.

EDIT: I also feel it's compliments The Whip as our victory song really nicely.

I love Gold on the Ceiling, but as a goal song, I don't think it's quite as exciting as it could be. I would like if we could find something super original that gets the whole crowd involved, something like Chelsea's Dagger or the Doop song that we can call our own and have it for years to come.

I for one wanted to keep Vamanos (or however the hell that is spelled) as I wanted to get some tradition going. But with that being said...

I absolutely love Gold On The Ceiling as our new goal song. IMO it is 10x better than Vamanos. I say keep it and keep it FOR GOOD. Please no more of this changing crap every year. I think we found a goal song that is awesome and most people agree is awesome. So please let's stick with it.

Way better than Electric Worry AKA probably the worst goal song ever imaginable.

LOVE THE CHOICE DJ DAVE. It's up there with Holiday!

Loved it. Holiday is great too. Why did we get rid of it again?
