panelguy Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 This is the roster they started the season with so there should be no B.S. about getting rolling or players clicking with each other , they either play as a team or changes have to be made . The power play is the guys who've been team mates for a long time , they just can't change now that the opposition has figured them out , maybe it boils down to stale coaching ideas. canucks4life83 Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 Unless Luongo wins some hardware he will not make it into the HHOF. He wouldn't even be close to the same class as the others in it. That being said 4-2 for Vancouver Daniel with 2 Edler Garrison Canucks break there PP streak and go 3/5 tonight. Luongo plays good and gets a win. chrisbanks Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 why cant people figure out why Luongo is starting tonight? its simple...its a back to back with st louis goalies always split back to backs and history shows hes far better vs the Wild at home than St louis... if it wasnt a back to back situation he wouldnt be in. although some could say if you gave Luongo the redemption game vs the redwings than Schneids should get a redemption gave vs the wild... Playoff performances carry huge weight in HHOF voting and Lu has not been able to get it done. It is still possible he can take his game to that next level of accomplishent but he is running out of opportunities. The way this team is looking right now, the best thing that could happen to Lu is if he got traded to a real contender. Go straight to the lower bowl right up to the glass by the Canucks bench... and watch your favorite Canuck close up during the warm-ups. If your lucky you might get a practice puck. But if you look at the numbers, Luongo should get the start at home against the Wild. And Schneider has been much better against the Blues than Luongo has.
