I hope Jordan reads this (one can hope) but I think he has to start using his God given offensive instincts of which he has an abundance of. Great on ice vision, can read the plays and get to the holes, has an absolutely wicked shot, and can make amazing passes. Jordan, if you need a role model as to how to play in this league (and stay), just look at how Theoren Fleury played the game. Great offensive player, like yourself with a low centre of gravity, but played with intensity and an edge. He took it upon himself to take over games and use what God gave him and not fight against it. You have amazing offensive talents....use them and THAT'S what will get people's attention and force AV to keep you here PERMANENTLY! You were drafted to SCORE and make ASSISTS. Go forward young man and do precisely that. This is your time to show who you really are.

..Oh yea and by the way, if you have the chance, SHOOT the puck because with your shot, it will go in at some point. Keep shooting it and good things will happen. If for whatever reason AV doesn't wake up to these facts about you and insists on converting you to a defensive centre and limits your ability to perform to your strengths, he should be fired ASAP because we need young offensive stars on this team and you're definitely capable of that.

Good post and I agreed with a lot of what you were doing (until you fell off the rails with the "fire AV asap" stuff); otherwise very good read.

Schroeder is our best centre call-up whether any of us like it or not and he has lots of tools and the toolbox.

A lot of the "sky is falling" crap out there right now is just because we lost the last game and some of our key guys are injured.

Let's hope Jordan gets a bucket of points tonight and we kick the Wild out of Minnesota.

Nice pass by Pinner, let's see some of that tonight! Also, that was a line of Pinner, Schroeder, and Jensen. I'm interested to see if we have a repeat of that line by season's end.

D. Hamhuis - K. Bieksa (Put them back together as our shutdown pairing)
A. Edler - J. Garrison (Try these two together for the first time since the start of the season)
K. Ballard - C. Tanev (normal)

No way does Tanev deserve to be on the third paring. Second paring with Edler, he needs a guy like Tanev.
