Mrock-763
Can't see Iginla in a Canuck's jersey ... too weird.
Danthecanucksfan
As long as we don't give up to much, I'd love to have him on the team for the rest of his career. I would just hope he'd re-sign
ForsbergTheGreat
Eddie Lack might be of interest to them. He's gonna be a solid NHL goalie. They're gonna need one soon. I think the Canucks can find a backup somewhere else if need be. And Cannata's looking like he'll be solid. But this would be like Linden going and playing for the Flames. I don't see it happening. ForsbergTheGreat
The wont trade Iginla within the conference, let alone division. (unless its a deal they can't refuse)

missioncanucksfan
Well seeing Iginla in a Canucks jersy wouldnt be half as weird as Messier in. Canucks jersey... Nothing tops that kinda strange. I can see Fester not wanting to send him our way. Rumour has it that we were on the brink of getting O'Reilly until corndog fingers slipped in the offer sheet. Surely he wouldnt be doing his hob if he wasnt trying to block our stuff too. Cant see Feater lasting much longer in Calgary anyway.

Mrock-763
Calgary has Ramo, much more NHL ready than Lack. Also Rumour is that LA is offering Bernier in a deal for iggy Iginla is not heading back to calgary next year. He has no place on that team anymore. Calgary would rather save the money (6-7mil) and give his ice time to help better develop their young players. Flames fans understand that Iginla's time in calgary is coming to an end. Also he didn't say vancouver was interested, he said there is rumour that iginla has made a 3-5 team list of possible destinations he would like to go to. PIT, DET, & Vancouver were the three mentioned.
Noseforthenet
In all honesty, Iginla would easily score 40 with the Sedins. But is he the guy that will hustle into the corners to get the puck?
Everybody Hates Raymond
People wouldn't want Iginla? Bias aside, he's one of the most talented players in the league. And he'll come fairly cheap as a rental versus what most players that can put up what he can will.

Everybody Hates Raymond
He's cup hungry and does it all. He'll do whatever is necessary to win. Iginla with the twins would be the perfect fit. Not only does he play with heart and passion, he plays with an edge and brings leadership to the table. He knows he's never going to win a cup in Calgary, so why not do it for Canada and play for a Canadian team that would most likely get him there. slappipappi
People here who don't want iggy are ABSOLUTELY NUTS and obviously haven't watched him play this year. We won't get him but it would be amazing if we did. He's been on fire this year and is hitting, battling, fighting even and scoring. This guy would be fantastic on our team. Again. 99% chance it won't happen
canuckfan85
again, what do we have that we would give up to get Iginla? Raymond Ballard 2014 1st Cannauton I would say Calgary says no to this. If it looks like Iginla would resign- I'd maybe a throw in Hansen...
