Lonny_Bohonos_14
Sweatt was injured last Friday I think. Gordon is who we traded for at the deadline last year (the Ducks got Sebastien Erixon in return) to give the Wolves some veteran depth. He's a smart player with lots of energy, decent shot and pretty good speed. With Sestito (possibly) and Kassian (for sure) out, we needed an extra body. Raffi Torres's Smirk
We're practically icing and AHL team so maybe we're going really hard for a Calder Cup this year?

Angry Goose
Here's what Scott Arniel has to say about him: “He’s a real heart-and-soul kid and one of our captains,” Wolves coach Scott Arniel said of the 27-year-old Halifax native. “He plays the same way every night and every shift and knows what it takes to play at this level because he’s won a couple of championships at Hershey. He’s on our power play and penalty kill. We have him at centre but he can play the wing as well and he’ll bring a good work ethic. He knows how to play on the right side of the puck. “There will be an adjustment for him with the NHL speed but he knows what to do with the puck. On our power play, he’s a front-of-the-net guy battling and looking for garbage and has a heavy one-timer slapshot. And he’s not going to play on the perimeter, he’ll play in traffic because that’s where he scores most of his goals. He prefers the middle but he’ll do what’s best for the team.”
goal-ghost
wouldn't have predicted that; but as someone mentioned above sweatt is injured. good luck to him. he's put up some decent numbers in the minors over the years but never had that translate into NHL success. cbdoubleu
Can he win a faceoff!? The Wolves site has him listed a RW. Coach seems impressed by him. PP net presence? Goes to high traffic areas? Garbage goals? These are mythical attributes in Canuckland. Not that he is going to see time in any of those situations.
