From tn.nova.cz

(Rough Translation by Google)

The list of candidates for Jagr’s services said more teams. Boston, Nashville, but also Canadian units Vancouver, Ottawa or Montreal. From the Canadiens said they even offer!

The Canadiens team that is among the best, Jagr could play with Thomas Plekancem with which rolled in reprezentanci even when locked out in Kladno.

“Power-play Conversions, we do not go too much, it could help, overall it’s a great player,” said Montreal center Plekanec.

So multiple teams are in and Montreal may have made an offer already then.

Kirk: Maybe he's not out there, Bones. Maybe he's right here. [points to his heart]

Would love to see the Habs land him.
He could really help them dispatch some of those annoying eastern conference teams south of the border.

Jagr is one of those players like Sundin, that if he's on your team he brings so much to a team because of the respect he's earned. He's a guy lots of guys on the Canucks can learn from, perhaps Kesler will learn to start passing again. Think many people credit Sundin for our core to be as good as they are.

At a point, Claude Giroux was considered next to Crosby because of Jagr's ability to create space.

Jagr's net presence on the PP will do for it what Kesler did 2 seasons ago.

Jagr is going to cost a higher pick and prospect or roster player IMO.

The NHL is a fixed old boys club. I've come to acceptance with that and just watch for entertainment. The 2011 & 2012 Canucks are champs in my books. Go Canucks Go!

Jagr and Henrik play the same side on the PP, do they not? Might not matter.

Jagr's still good at boardwork. Him and the twins might work. But he's slowing down and the groin issues continue.

After losing Manny, somebody with Jagr's experience would be great to have on the team. Everybody would respect him, he's a legend.

That's not even counting what he brings on the ice; still a top-6 RW who can shoot the puck or make plays, plus he's jacked as hell. 230 pounds and ripped, we could use that size and power.

Slowing down? He's on a better pace than last season with worse linemates. Quit talking out your ass.

get it done Gillis!

He's injured right now, but we should offer them David Booth. Dallas gets a 29 year old ex 3 time 20 goal scorer who hits.

Because we didn't have the cap space as we expected Booth to be healthy and we had plenty of winger depth already. He didn't have a crystal ball to be able to tell him Booth would pull his groin and then sprain his ankle, Kesler would break his foot and that Malhotra wouldn't be any better after a full offseason of training.

That's the thing, if Dallas feels they're out of it they might consider someone with a few years still on his contract that could be a beneficial player for next year. They might take that type of deal over a pick/prospect combo, and that would be a reasonable price for me even if Jagr's a rental.

This guy openly stated he wanted to come to a Canadian team BEFORE his move to Dallas. Now I don't know if MG thought he was too old but patently he is not. All the great skilled players can go on a lot longer because knowledge/experience makes up for any speed drop off............................. If MG f--ks this up he needs to go. Jagr on the Sedin line is what that line needs.

Getting him completely depends on what Dallas is asking for. They could be asking him for a kings ransom because so many teams are in on him. Imo, Iginla and Jagr are going to get the most return for their respective teams. If we don't get him because a team overpaid for him, I'm okay with that but if we don't get him because it was like a mid tier prospect and one of our2nd/3rd line tweeners that would suck.
