Everybody Hates Raymond
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie1m NYR and FLA have been told by NHL there will be no supplementary discipline for Rick Nash's hit on Tomas Kopecky.
Captain Aerosex
Seriously Shanahan...come on... Even if they're arguing non-intentional, Jannik's glove to the back of Hossa's head was a much more debatable play with a less severe result, and he still got at least a game. elvis15
Jesus. That's horrible if they're saying wrong place, wrong time.
Wedge-tailed Eagle
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA What a joke, how that isn't suspension worthy is beyond me
Aladeen
Don't blame the league. He pretty clearly intended nothing. He is a very jumpy player on the ice - was just trying to avoid Fleischmann and ended up clipping Kopecky.
Everybody Hates Raymond
Hoping this is sarcasm... but as my detector is in the shop atm... watch where Nash is looking... he is locked on and targeting the back of Kopecky's head... My god if this is not suspended and Edler is... I have nothing but for Shanny... He should have just retired as a player and got into Coaching or something... he is tarnishing his amazing and stellar career unfortunately. MJDDawg
Just wow. Hansen gets one game for his careless forearm to the back of Hossa's head, Nash gets nothing for an obviously blatant shot to the head. Shanny and the league's credibility drops even more when you look at the perception of a conflict of interest given Shanny's relationship with Slats. Aladeen
I've only seen the front view of it on highlights. Was basing on that
Lychees
It's cause Kopecky got up and wasn't injured. By NHL logic.

RyanKeslord17
Well obviously, Bettman probably wants the NYR to make the playoffs, suspending Nash won't help.
Bang Bang Boogie
This was a lot worse than Hansen on Hossa. But its Rick Nash, so no suspension.
rampage
fck sakes NHL...can we get some consistency.
jannik freaking hansen
Coming in from behind, left his feet, and elbow to the back of the head; a textbook headshot if there ever was one. Lupul just got two games two days ago and now Nash gets off scot-free. New regime same lunacy.
RUPERTKBD
Once again, the NHL uses the size of a player's contract as the determining factor for supplementary discipline. If this had been somebody like Andrew Alberts, he would have had the book thrown at him...
Aladeen
"Headshot to back of head to an unsuspecting player" - that's what he said about Hansen - Nash did the same thing....just wow....
