Xur
Calling a line "the 3rd line" has no meaning to it whatsoever. The only reason we number our lines are because of the players they play with and ice time. You'd expect the Sedins to be our "1st line" when in actual fact Kesler averages more time than the Sedins. So does that mean we have the Sedins on our 2nd line? If you're not smart enough to think past these arbitrary definitions and dissect different ice time possibilities then don't waste my time. Canuck Surfer
Mostly right; maybe some debate in Edmonton and Toronto. Do you really see Kesler playing with Eberle and Hall instead of Gagner? RNH? Getting top billing with Lupul and Kessel instead of Bozak or Kadri? Its not that he might not be better than those players; but I could see them using him to his advantage in a defensive role just like we do. And I do not see him generating as much offence. A reasonable debate anyway??? Kesler would be a 1C on a few teams Columbus Florida Phoenix Edmonton Winnipeg Toronto Buffalo Nashville Maybe one or two more
