Situation69
Hey Canuck Fans, The Anaheim Ducks have signed unrestricted free agent forward Radek Dvorak to a contract that will expire at the end of this season. The 36-year-old veteran will earn $675,000 and must clear waivers before joining the Ducks because he played games in Europe since the start of the NHL season. Drafted by the Florida Panthers in the first round (10th overall) of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, Dvorak spent this season playing for Davos in Swiss League where he registered seven points in seven games. Last season, he registered four goals and 17 assists with the Dallas Stars and has 219 goals and 358 assists through 1,191 career NHL games with the Panthers, Rangers, Oilers, Blues, Thrashers and Stars. What do you think of this signing? It depends if he clears waivers. Go Canucks Go Cheers..

Where's Wellwood
What position does he play? If he's a centre, then maybe pick him up for depth but I'm still leaning toward no.

He's played like 10 games so far this year. I doubt he gets picked up.
DownUndaCanuck
Likely going to get plucked the way the season is unfolding. Lots more waiver pick ups, a lot less big trades. Dvorak would help just about any team's depth in the playoff run. It's frustrating how we have to sit back and watch contending teams like Anaheim and Pittsburgh bolster their lineup with veteran depth players while the Canucks sit on their ass and do nothing. These are the sorts of moves that result in cups, it's happened in just about every Cup winner of the last decade.
