Ghostsof1915
Unless Boston is offering Hamilton I think he's going to Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is offering former 1st round pick Joe Morrow. Whoever wins, we lose.
c00kies
He chose Pit, as of Aaron Ward. aaronward_nhl: Brendan Morrow waives his NTC to go to Pitt #TSN Edit: Wasn't expecting a fusion of threads lol.

Peaches
I said right after that those guys were traded or lost for nothing. And I don't see the point in rebuilding when you're a playoff team.

TOMapleLaughs
Morrow for Morrow? Maybe. HF calls it an overpayment of course, but what's Morrow gonna do for Pitts right now?

bobopan
If that's the price to pay for a 3rd line guy then yeah id hate to think what the flames are asking for iginla or any other high end player. I don't know alot about this Morrow guy except he was the pens 1st rounder a couple years ago and is one of their more highly rated guys.

brewdog
If Iginla is only looking to join a contender, then this must make the Pens even more desirable.

winthecup
All the threads are merged now thankfully, this makes it much easier to keep track of everything rather than looking in multiple threads. Why is it so offensive to you that someone would tell you that there are other threads already open? It's not like you knew ahead of time about those other threads, or did you? TOMapleLaughs
Dallas doesn't win 'now' because J.Morrow does nothing for them 'now.' They might win down the road, but honestly, what GM's shoes would you rather be in? Pretty sure Shero is feeling better than Nieuwendyk at the moment, and very likely for the long term. Besides, J. Morrow is a piece you want before a guy like Benn, not after. It's not like J. Morrow is the next Drew Doty. Dallas has a ways to go before being a contender. But call Dallas a winner of this trade if you want.
