Let's put it this way. When you get a $150 speeding ticket it is very annoying. Is it going to hurt you financially? For most people, no. But is still makes you think twice about speeding for the next little while. And plus, it is now on your record. This is the same for Nolan. An annoying fine that ruins your day, makes you think twice about doing it again and he now has a record that will come into play if he does something again.

In regards to the Penner hit, I thought that was the right call. Border line for sure, but I'd say that was a bad boarding penalty, not a suspension. The head was not targeted and Tanev was close to the boards.
