Canucks scouts spotted at Toronto/Boston game

Recommended Posts

Probably just sizing up other teams while in the area looking at minor league players or undrafted college players. The last thing the Canucks will do is make any sort of trade. Gillis is very content with the status quo, and thinks the team is elite just the way it is and fully set for a cup run.

1.) They could be doing some advance scouting for the playoffs.

2.) They could be looking at guys from either team because of a potential trade.

3.) They could be looking at guys on either team who will be UFA's after this season (Bozak, Orr, MacArthur, Horton, etc).

4.) They could just have been bored and they were looking for something to do because there hasn't been a lot of need to scout the east this season.

regards,

G.

I wouldn't read too much into it.

there were a lot of scouts in boston for the hockey east finals that were held this weekend, and a bunch of them probably stuck around. there's a lot of undrafted kids on all four of the teams that participated (Boston College, Boston University, Providence College, and Umass-Lowell).
