uber_pwnzor
My dream would be 3 years at 2.5 per year. Team pays more than what he's worth for a pretty good length. By the end of the deal, it should be a total steal.

Methany878
I'm expecting a multi-year contract worth $2 million a year.
Bodee
What is with some of you?? The guy is a bottom pairing D man and some of you want to throw 3M per or MORE!!!!! 1-2M / year is the MAX!!!

timberz21
I sure hope so. One of Bieska, Hamhuis, Edler and Garrisson has to go. To much money invested on four solid defenseman, yet not good enough to be a true #1.

Ghostsof1915
I wouldn't give him more than 2m. He's pretty bad, fail passes, tiny body, average speed. Honestly I must be watching a totally different game cuz i think hes terrible w/o ballard bailing him out on every play
Nordiques_fan
Again, I know most of you will pee their pants, but he's one player I would trade right away, if he's worth something (which I'm not sure of). Would this guy be as efficient playing 25 minutes? Who actually knows if he won't collapse next year? Maybe he's the next Larry Robinson? I don't know, but if we can score something good for him, I say go for it, Gillis. We need to win now, not in 5 years, it will be too late, I'm afraid. redhdlois
I hope we do whatever it takes to keep him......he is only 22 now and plays like an experienced NHL'r.....I predict great things for him
Rubberhead
Keep Tanev no matter and get rid of Elder
Bodee
Whatever drugs your doing, stop. Because clearly you have no idea what you're seeing. Ballard bails him out? Try the other way around. Tanev is 6'2", that's not tiny. Fail passes???
Mrock-763
1.2m-2m / 2-3 years
thehamburglar
Offensive talented Tanev? I'd pull that back alittle bit. But yeah I think he'll be thankful that we gave him an opportunity. 3 years at 1.5.
