Everybody Hates Raymond
Farhan Lalji @FarhanLaljiTSN 52s @kbieksa3 on Ballard's play up front, "I've even heard some compliments from the coach about him that I haven't hears in 4 years." #canucks Seems possible if this is the case. RyanKeslord17
I wouldn't mind it at all, but I doubt that we'll have room when Kes returns with Kassian

darkpoet
We already have one $4+Million player up front who can't score. We don't need another one.

Everybody Hates Raymond
Ballard is a good guy but unfortunately just isn't the player t Sure itis entirely possible but this seems more like wishful thinking. Ballard hasn't said anything so why believe it? Plus as others have said, if you think Ballard can justify 4 million as a forward think again. The only reason he plays forward on this team is because arguably his performance in the bottom pairing is only as good as Barker or Alberts. Plus Ballard is more high risk and not even high reward. CanucksFanMike
NO! How about AV just admits he has been brutal to Ballard the past few years and puts him back on defence where he deserves to be and plays best..... Bally was playing a real solid game so far this season on D until AV scratched him for no reason

Watermelons
Semin just signed a 5 year extension, making him $7 million a year and is touted as "the Russian Sniper" and has a whopping 8 goals so far this year.

Wheels22
This might be what we need.. I've noticed the last few years in the playoffs that half the games we played with only five D, due to an injury or game misconduct or whatever.. and that made our remaining D play more minutes, getting more tired, and getting beat easier.. Maybe a D playing forward would help in those situations. Slotting back on the blue-line if there is an emergency. Yannick Weber does it all the time for Montreal.. Not saying Ballard has to be the guy to do that, but something to keep in mind anyways.. Playing two positions could be a good way to earn that big salary of his... Lychees
I only saw the first game he played LW this year and he looked pretty solid on the forecheck, defensive play etc. I love it

wallstreetamigo
The worst +/- on the team in back to back losses. Twice as bad as Andrew Alberts who was second.
