[Proposal]NYR-SJS

9 posts in this topic

To NYR:

Dan Boyle

Ryan Clowe

Adam Burish

2013 5th

To SJS:

Marian Gaborik

2013 4th(thrid if NYR makes 2nd round of playoffs.)

2013 5th

Why NYR does it:

Boyle is the top 3 DMAN they want who can help PP. Clowe and Burish add depth grit and size something NYR is missing.

Why SJS does it:

They get a star in Gaborik who can score and the line of Marleau-Thornton-Gaborik will kill the opposition.

That is actually not bad... I could see something like this happening. I think NYR might have to offer up one more small piece for the sharks to accept though.

Nice proposal!

If San Jose starts to make moves like getting rid of Clowe and Boyle, they do it to get younger and cheaper, not to bring in someone like Gaborik. They've been there before with Heatley.

It's funny, because Gaborik has had troubles producing with guys like Nash, Richards, Callahan etc., how is he going to produce with Thornton and Marleau?

I can't see San Jose going that root again.

Where is Stepan and Hagelin?
