Warning: 70% of you will not finish this because it is far far too long. I tried to keep it short but there was just too much to talk about. Once you start talking about Jiri Slegr, it's tough to stop!

But for those of you stuck at work or school and need a bit of a read, I went over the entire Canucks trade deadline activity history, so if you want to travel down memory lane, here's your chance!

Seriously, it's really long, I'm sorry.

But seriously, pretty good. Man, Nonis and Burke tried while they were here (actually drafting a few good players that now make up the core of our team) but they were horrible at the deadline.

What was it in 2006, two 2nd rounders, a 3rd and a 4th (plus a conditional 7th) to get us nowhere? That resulted in Carney and Weinrich? But I guess it got us Mika Noronen, and it was almost worth it just to be able to say his name.

Man, I miss deals like 1991.
