naslund.is.king
This is how all of you will react when the Sedins are here for too long and will have won 0 cups with them. Then you'll all be saying "omg, we should've traded them when they were worth something"
BedBeats™2.0
No such thing as a quick rebuild. And i have zero interest in subtracting offense. Every season they have very brief slumps. You wait and see when they bust out again.

CanucksFanMike
Then why is Calgary now going to trade Iginla?
canuck_trevor16
It's a business, if we can't win with them anymore, then it doesn't matter what they want. Iginal wanted to be in Calgary all this career aswell, how well did that turn out?

Danthecanucksfan
They will produce fine, these are two superstar players who have been with the Canucks franchise their entire careers. You do not trade away franchise players such as the sedins. They are too close to the community and have done too much for the city to be traded away. The Canucks would be silly to trade away the sedins while the rest of the roster is in it's prime. They could easily still help us win a cup in the upcoming couple of years, no doubt about it. They are here to stay. I would bet my life on it.

Nino
Hope this is a joke, even if it would help the team some players need to retire as nucks.
ice orca
How about trade Gillis for an effective D man that can man the PP?
Foo202
The twins have hit the point where the only way they will be traded is if they ask to be. Yes, this could turn into the Iginla scenario a few years down the line, but to trade franchise players just as they are starting to decline is completely classless and would take this organization looks amateurish to the point where no one will want to come here to play. JiffyPB
All you people who are saying no are just in denial. I'm sure this is how people in calgary responded a couple years ago when the thought of trading Iginla was brought up and look at them now haha... nuckin_futz
The twins can be effective for a long time to come. There's not a lot of miles on those bodies. They don't have a lengthy history of injuries, Dank has a bit but nothing for Hank. They don't play heavy minutes, don't kill penalties. They can go for a long while. The only way they leave is if they ask to be moved.
