Grapefruits
I know Iggy isn't the same player he used to be, but did Feaster really just trade their franchise player and captain for two no-namers and a low 1st rounder? Sucks to be a Flames fan today.

Where's Wellwood
As much as I'd like to see Iggy get a cup, I never want to see the Bruins win another cup. I still wish all things bad on the Bruins.
Sapper
NHL reporting it as well http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=662496&navid=nhl:topheads The Calgary Flames have traded their captain and all-time scoring leader, Jarome Iginla, to the Boston Bruins, TSN's Aaron Ward reported late Wednesday night. Iginla, 35, has nine goals and 22 points this season for the struggling Flames. He has played his entire NHL career in Calgary, scoring 525 goals. He had played 441 consecutive games before the Flames scratched him Wednesday night for a game against the Colorado Avalanche. He had appeared in every game for Calgary since April 8, 2007. Iginla will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. According to Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com, the Bruins are sending center Alexander Khokhlachev, defenseman Matt Bartkowski and a first-round draft pick at this year's NHL Draft to Calgary. aqua59
I have a lot of respect for Iginla. I will never for get Trveor Linden's last game which was against Calgary in Vancouver. When the game was over, Iginla lined his Flames team up and each one of them shook Linden's hand, Iginla last. How can one not respect a man like that. Things like that just don't happen much. You can't buy class and there are few players as classy as Iginla.

Trebreh
A conditional 1st if he re-signs!! LMAO!!! this just keeps getting better. Feaster is by far the dumbest GM in all sports. First he almost lost his 1st and ROR to waivers now this hahaha!!!
SOB for MVP
Khokhlachev isnt getting the respect he deserves here, he is a stud http://www.hockeysfuture.com/prospects/alexander_khokhlachev/ Not defending Feaster's dismal return, but Khokhlachev is a solid piece
Tangelos
meh the Kovalchuk trade a few years back was just as bad for Atlanta and Kovalchuk is better than Iginla. Plus why is everyone pissed? It's the Flames! We're supposed to hate the Lames. Glad they got fleeced.
