Craig Ferguson
http://www.thestar.com/sports/leafs/2013/03/28/leafs_canucks_talking_luongo_again_cox.html Not sure if this was already posted but apparently the Canucks and Leafs are back in conversations/negotiations again. Mainly featuring Luongo, Kadri and Gardiner are most likely out of the question now. I would like to see Gillis take at least a shot for Kadri, but this is good to hear. Salo'sBomb
Would rather he not go to the Leafs. It'll be funny to watch them miss the playoffs again.

Angry Goose
Leafs arn't missing the playoffs this year. Hoping they get a deal done. People are gonna crap their pants but id be happy seeing something similar to Iginla's trade. 2 B+ prospects and either a high 2013 draft pick or 2014 first. Don't think they are gonna give up Bozak either. They need him for their playoff run.
VaNux
bozak, franson, pick for lu. Then go for Ribeiro

CB007
But back to the article, Cox is quite correct. Lu is not the only option. Gillis has to make it appealing for the Leafs to trade for him. Luongo late-round pick for Reimer (we need a backup goalie) Bozak mid-round pick At this point I'm happy with that.
billabong
The canucks must trade luo now while they still have some leverage. in the offseason the canucks will be low balled because teams now that they haft to unload his contract no matter what
Lui's Knob
What if we trade him to Edmonton and then is flipped to Toronto? Get much better players from Edmonton than Toronto... Paarjavi? Nick Schultz? Hemsky? Gagner?

CB007
I have to add, Cox is trying to make us forget that Bozak is a pending UFA and can walk (back to the Leafs) after this season. So that has to lower the Leafs' leverage a bit.
BananaMash
Isn't Bozak a pending free agent? Edit: CB007 beat me.

BananaMash
Rebeiro also said he would like to be traded if Washington doesn't want to sign a long term deal, because he didn't like how Richards just walked from Dallas and they weren't able to use him to gain assets (or something like that iirc). oldnews
Cox is probably the dumbest of the dumb in a hockey media world that is full of halfwits. Go ahead and work the Kipprusoff is a better option angle. Which part is more attractive? The .879 sv % or the "I'm not going to report" part?
